The City of Perry, Missouri
Perry is small rural community in Ralls County reflective of all the charm and friendliness associated with the rural Midwest.
Although it has a population of less than 800, Perry provides services equal to those found in much larger towns, with a healthy mix of retail, commercial and industrial business.
Only minutes away from Mark Twain Lake, Perry is regarded as the Southern Gateway to the lake. Each year, more than 1.5 million people visit the lake recreation areas to camp, boat, fish, and enjoy other outdoor activities.
In recent years, Perry has adapted to take advantage of opportunities created by the nearby 13,600 acre recreational lake. Because of the growing popularity of Mark Twain Lake, numerous service related businesses are located in and around Perry.
A stroll down the streets of Perry provides visitors with a unique mix of old and new. Restored buildings house antique stores, specialty shops and hometown businesses reminiscent of a time when people took life at a little slower pace.
